HOW DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you with organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different times in the day for great lighting, etc, etc...
On your wedding day, my goal is to capture the feelings, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding unique. That's why I photograph with a photojournalistic approach. I will guide you with natural pose suggestions, but I prefer to just let the magic happen - though I understand sometimes it just needs a gentle push!
I'm excellent at Dad jokes too, so that always seems to help! Don't ask my kids though, they don't know what they're talking about...
HOW LONG SHOULD WE ALLOW FOR BRIDAL PARTY PHOTOS?
This entirely depends on where you are wanting to have this portion of the day photographed. If the venue has some nice spots around the grounds then I'd suggest between 60-90min, but if you wanted to venture off the grounds to a local forest or waterfall for instance, you'd want to try set aside approx. 2hrs. This includes approx. 30-45mins with just the two of you without the rest of the bridal party.
DO I NEED A 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?
No, not necessarily, though the benefit of having a 2nd photographer is that we can be in two different locations when there is not enough time for one photographer to cover both (e.g. getting ready locations). You also get photos with a different perspective and viewpoint. You'll probably also get a few more candid shots of your guests etc. + more photos overall.
It's not for everyone though, and some of the stuff that I’ve noted above won't be important to you. For this reason, you have the option to add a second photographer, or not. I’m perfectly comfortable photographing your wedding on my own. So chat to each other to see if a second photographer is what you want/need/can afford.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED, AND DO YOU TRAVEL?
I'm Auckland based and yes, I love to travel!
If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But don't worry, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I love the way my creativity bone tingles when I discover new and exciting places and I don't want it to be a make-or-break for your decision.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS?
Your will receive a sneak peek within 48hrs of your big day, and the full online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season). Your friends and family can also download the photos from the gallery, share them, choose their favorites, and also order prints and wall art - all from the online PRINT STORE in your gallery!
WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO THE DIGITAL FILES?
You have full rights to print and share your images whenever you want, wherever you want, for all time!
However, you may not sell your images for profit, use them for any commercial purpose or publish your images without our written consent. If your wedding vendors are requesting some images to use for their advertising, please, send them our way, so we can provide the best solution to their needs.
CAN I GET THE RAW FILES?
We do not offer unedited RAW files or 'outtakes' I'm afraid.
Much like your caterer doesn't provide the extra potatoes he didn't use when making your roast dinner, or the left over gravy. Trust me, you don't need the hassle of storing 100's of gigabytes worth of images or trying to edit proprietary Nikon image files anyway.
The images selected for editing and final delivery reflect my very high standards, so you will receive professionally polished images, taking full advantage of the 14 years of editing experience I have under my belt!
