PARENT COPY ALBUMS

Parent Copy Albums are, as nearly as possible, small-scale replicas of a larger Flushmount album. They can be ordered as optional extras added to the original album order, but cannot be purchased independently.

COVER MATERIAL OPTIONS

Choose what cover style you want. Vegan-friendly Buckram or Faux Leathers are included in the base price, but an upgrade to one of our Classic, Contemporary
or Vintage leathers is recommended (I love ‘Vintage Wilderness’ as shown in the slideshow below!).

COVER STYLE OPTIONS

Once you've chosen a cover material, let me know how you want to personalise it.
Options include blind or foil embossing, custom couple logo design embossing, or with a photo front.

BLIND EMBOSSING: Perhaps our most popular cover style. Select from our range of fonts and supply the text you want us to emboss — typically names and dates. Some fonts allow for two lines of text, some one.

CUSTOM FOIL EMBOSSING: You may prefer to supply your own artwork for us to emboss, such as a monogram or logo, or a font that's not available in our standard range. Or you may need more characters than our standard range offers. The cost will depend on the size.

PHOTO FRONTS: A photographic print is bound to the front cover, protected by a textured laminate. The material of your choice covers the spine and back. We offer both "half" and "full" Photo Front covers.

PAPER STOCK OPTIONS

True photographic lustre pages offer constant colour under different light sources, unmatched longevity (no noticeable colour change after 200 years in albums), and durability. Because images are embedded in the paper they're ideal for loose prints, boxes and albums, where the prints are subject to handling.

Queensberry offer two distinctive stocks for 6-colour offset printing - Satin and Tintoretto. Offset printing offers several advantages. Unlike other technologies the paper can be printed on both sides, making offset printing ideal for photo books. It can also be used on a variety of paper stocks, making it possible to get the "fine art" or "water colour" look of inkjet printing for example, but with a more durable product and at a more appealing price.
All paper stocks are pH-buffered to ensure pages and prints remain acid-free over a lifetime.

LUSTRE: Premier Lustre paper produces accurate skin tones, with a neutral tone scale from highlights to shadows - ideal for portrait prints. Lustre offers bold rich blacks, clean whites and an increased colour gamut for stronger, brighter, more vibrant colours.

SATIN: Has a smooth surface with a slight sheen and excellent colour resolution, perfect for photographic imagery.

TINTORETTO: A felt-marked art stock with a distinct watercolour texture on both surfaces. Tintoretto has a matt finish, is of exceptional quality and, like our other offset stocks, specifically formulated for our digital-offset press.

FINE ART PAPER STOCK

Queensberry's Fine Art albums are inkjet printed, which means that — with the high-quality files we provide — they can deliver gorgeous prints and a wider colour gamut than other printing technologies. Fine Art album pages are beautiful, but slightly more expensive — and more delicate — than albums with true photographic or offset printed pages.
*Only available in Flushmount album

All inkjet prints are susceptible to scuffing, and also ink transfer, especially in solid black and dark blue areas. That's why they restrict the maximum pages in the album to 30 pages max. This reduces the risk of damage from over filling.

of your fine art album and handle it carefully with clean hands.
Queensberry recommend a Premium Album box with the purchase of any
Fine Art album purchase to ensure the longevity of the album.

FINE ART: Our professional, conservation-quality Fine Art stock is natural white
with a lightly textured rich matt finish.

THE FINAL WORD

If you have chosen a package that includes an album, once your images are delivered you will need to go through your
online gallery and create a favourites list of the 70-80 images you would like included in your album.
I recommend including parts of your whole day so I can tell the full story in your album.

If you did not choose a package that included an album, you can still order one (or more!) at any time. I’ll invoice you for the album and 50% payment is required before I begin design, the balance will be due on approval of the draft.

Once I've done the initial design, I'll email you a digital draft - you'll be able to see each spread and let me know what changes you'd like (if any). One round of edits is included in the album price, additional changes after the first edit are $50. This is to avoid delays and repeated
re-working of your design. Once you've signed off on the draft, I'll have your album ready to collect (or courier free within New Zealand)
in 4 to 6 weeks. Then all you have to do is swoon over it for the next 50 years until the kids inherit it!
